Humanitarian Support Foundation supports 6th annual Rooster Walk Music and Arts Festival

roosterHumanitarian Support Foundation supported the 6th annual Rooster Walk Music and Arts Festival again this year with donations and volunteering. The Festival is a yearly charity fundraiser at Blue Mountain Festival Grounds, just outside of Martinsville, VA.  The event was created in memory of two Martinsville natives and is dedicated to promoting music, arts and education in the area.  A donation was given to support “Left Hip Pocket,” one of the bands that played at the festival. Humanitarian Support Foundation also gave an additional donation to the Martinsville Band Program, in memory of Todd Eure, a former employee of Humanitarian Support Foundation.  The organization matched our gift for greater impact for the band program that provides scholarships for high school students for band instruments.

Humanitarian Support Foundation host Fun Factory Event at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital

Humanitarian Support Foundation employees recently hosted a themed party, provided crafts and activities in the Fun Factory area for patients at  Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta.  Our team also sponsored and served dinner for the patients and their families. It was awesome to see the parents able to sit down and relax knowing their children were nearby having fun.

Most of the sports equipment was well used so Humanitarian Support Foundation ordered new basketballs, soccer balls, footballs, nerf footballs, golf balls and golf clubs for the enclosed play area.dfgh
